Data Collection
We source data from NCES/IPEDS, the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard, and regional accrediting bodies. This includes graduation rates, retention rates, tuition data, faculty ratios, and post-graduation earnings.
Accreditation Verification
Every school must hold regional or national accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. We verify accreditation status directly with accrediting bodies before including any program in our rankings.
Direct Evaluation
Where possible, we enroll in trial courses, attend virtual open houses, and interview current students and alumni. We evaluate learning management systems, student support services, and career placement resources firsthand.
Scoring Framework
Each program is scored across five dimensions:
